At The Holiday Fixer we believe it is important for us all to consider how we can travel more sustainably.  One major problem is carbon emissions and to help us offset them we are pleased to announce that we have partnered with Trees4Travel,

Trees are one of the most powerful absorbers of carbon emissions.  By growing trees in developing countries as we travel, we can each do our bit to help restore eco-systems, biodiversity and support local communities by providing employment opportunities. Reforestation will help reverse climate change, but trees are often fragile and take time to grow.  Therefore to ensure a traveller’s carbon emissions are offset as soon as possible, Trees4Travel always connects each tree to a United Nations Certified Emissions Reduction Renewable Energy Project and by doing that essentially double up on their promise.
