During COVID travel agents really proved their worth, acting tirelessly on their customers behalf to get them home, get refunds and change bookings. I was immensely proud of the team at The Holiday Fixer who did an amazing job. Without doubt the pandemic definitely changed the perception of travel agents and has created a new demand for their services.
In an article written for the Travel Market Report, Kenroy Herbert, founder of Leviticus Lifestyle & Travel states “Travel advisors are now in more demand than ever. In fact, the role of the travel advisor has changed significantly, specifically in the luxury travel market.”
